On occasion of the 23rd Annual Conference of the European Society of Criminology work in progress of LEmobAB was presented in the POL 23 panel of the ESC working-group on policing dedicated to “Police Partnerships and collaboration”.
In my paper “Rethinking cross-border police cooperation”, I proposed an analytical framework for the study of cross-border police cooperation, by taking developments in policing across internal Schengen borders as an empirical case. I argued for the added analytical value of considering cross-border-police cooperation as policing-mobilities within plural legal orders and shared some preliminary visualisation of normative fram eworks regulating police cooperation.
This visualisation and analysis is work-in-progress from LEmobAB, to be shared online soon on the website!
